Rev. Dr. J. Arthur Poulson Sr. is the Servant Leader of The Historic First Baptist Church of Cheswold. With over five decades in ministry, he’s a seasoned preacher, teacher, and mentor. A Philadelphia native, he holds advanced degrees in Bible and ministry, and has served churches throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He’s also the founder of J. Arthur Poulson Ministries and a retired federal analyst. Dr. Poulson is known for his heart for people, love for the Word, and passion for developing leaders. He lives in Smyrna, DE with his wife, Charletta, and continues to serve with the mantra:
“A saved sinner seeking to serve the Lord.”
